Perspective: Personal stupidity

Suddenly, as if out of nowhere, and turbo-charged by an un-American faction of alien-like visitors from another planet, we have become witness to an unbelievable string of national events that is hard to wrap one’s brain around. (Courtesy Photo)

I am a stupid person. No fault of mine. I am a victim of my environment, my dependence on truth and the American way. I am presently lost for words and for my country’s future. I am not unlike you, the reader, for we are of the same ilk and ideology.

We recall our past history and glory, our deceased families and heroes, and are proud of it; we love our family, our neighbors and our country. We have lived a life at peace with ourselves, our families, our neighbors and yes, even our enemies.

But, it is becoming very difficult to accept, to swallow, to understand the undertow adrift in the good ole U.S.A. Suddenly, as if out of nowhere, and turbo-charged by an un-American faction of alien-like visitors from another planet, we have become witness to an unbelievable string of national events that is hard to wrap one’s brain around.

Our own incumbent government intelligentsia believe that an open border is not a serious national security concern and risk, but a humanitarian response to those, from anywhere in the world, who wish to enter the U.S.A., with no questions asked.

Why should we produce our own fuels, when OPEC has been our supplier for years? Why should we fund our police departments across our land? What crimes do they really prevent? We surely can police ourselves.

Why should we continue to venerate statues of our historical figures?

My stupidity says to knock them down, crush them.

Why aren’t all Americans vaccinated yet, with multiple boosters to prevent them from getting infected by COVID-19 or transmitting it? Why? Can someone please tell me why, for I am a stupid person.

Time to get serious. Please allow me to inform the reader of a matter of historical importance. In the 1960s, at the height of the Cold War between the U.S.A. and the U.S.S.R., the Communist Party of Russia was attempting to develop a biological weapon in order to immobilize millions of Americans in the event that they would have to invade the U.S.A. via its southern border.

Don’t believe it? Look it up.

I am a stupid person, but one thing is certain. I will never betray my Creator, my family or my country despite what the media and certain government leaders would like us to believe.

I may be stupid, but mama didn’t raise no fool!
