Richard F. “Rick” Campione



Richard F. “Rick” Campione, 86, of Elm, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, N.J.


Born in Hammonton, Rick was a long-time area resident. He worked as a self-employed mason/bricklayer until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, former member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society and St. Martin Church. He was a long-time coach in Hammonton Little League and was on the Hammonton Little League team that went to the Little League World Series in 1947-48 and came in fourth. The 1949 team won the Series. Rick was an accomplished musician and saxophone player, an avid golfer having won several golf tournaments and championships. He also took special joy being around his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


He is predeceased by wife, Mary Ann.


He is survived by his children, April (Tim) Ebling, Debbie (Jos) Randsdorp and Richard C. (Lee); eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


Funeral Service and Interment were held privately for family with Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton.
