Salvatore N. “Buddy” Colasurdo



Salvatore N. “Buddy” Colasurdo, 88, of ElmTowne, died on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Virtua Voorhees Hospital.


Born in Hammonton where he lived most of his life, he has been a resident of ElmTowne in retirement. He worked as an HVAC technician all his life having last worked for the State of N.J. in Vineland at the Developmental Center for 18 years prior to his retirement. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, and he was a member of the Lions Clubs International and a member of St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish.


Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara A. (nee Holak); his brother, Pasquale Colasurdo of Port Richey, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.


A memorial mass and interment will take place tentatively for July with confirmation to be announced closer to the date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607 or ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
