Salvatore N. “Buddy” Colasurdo



Salvatore N. “Buddy” Colasurdo, 88, of ElmTowne, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Virtua Voorhees Hospital.


Born in Hammonton where he lived most of his life, he has been a resident of ElmTowne in retirement. He worked as an HVAC technician all his life having last worked for the State of N.J. in Vineland at the Developmental Center for 18 years prior to his retirement. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, a member of the Lions Clubs International, St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish.


He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara A. (nee Holak); a brother, Pasquale Colasurdo of Port Richey, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.


Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St Anthony Church, 285 US-206 Hammonton, NJ 08037. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607 or ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
