Thomas John Manna



Thomas John Manna, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home in Hammonton, N.J.


Tom was originally from Linden, N.J. where he grew up working in his parents’ Italian restaurant, Johnny’s Pizzeria. He attended Oratory Prep and graduated from Seton Hall University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Seward, Alaska.


In the 1970s Tom moved to South Jersey where he worked as a CPA for the South Jersey Gas Company for over 30 years. Tom enjoyed traveling the world accompanied by his beloved late wife and best friend, Jean. He enjoyed playing golf with friends, hiking in Wharton State Forest, bird watching from his backyard and cheering on all Philadelphia sports teams. He especially liked rooting for his alma mater, the Seton Hall Pirates.


Tom is predeceased by his wife, Jean Manna (Boushie); and his parents, John and Camille Manna.


He is survived by his children, John Manna, Alison Manna and Sarah Manna; his sisters, Joan Rottmann, Karen Lupo and Elaine Susarchick; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. His radiant smile, sparkling blue eyes and kind heart will be missed by many.
