Vanessa Denise Capella, 42, of Hammonton died on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
She was born to Donald and Maria (Falcone) Palmieri on November 6, 1978 in Stratford, N.J. Vanessa attended Hammonton Public Schools and Miller Military Academy, Charlottesville, Va. She went on to earn two associate degrees from ACCC and continued her education at Rutgers. Vanessa was formerly employed in the hospitality industry which included Cuba Libre at the Tropicana. Vanessa had a one-of-a-kind personality who followed her own path. She was a beautiful person whose personality touched everyone she met with her limitless generosity and genuine kindness. Vanessa was a brave person who believed she could do and be anything she wanted.
Vanessa is predeceased by her father, Donald J. Palmieri Sr.; grandparents, Joseph and Nancy Falcone, and Pasquale and Ida Palmieri.
She will be greatly missed by her mother, Maria L. Palmieri (Matthew Calabria) and her partner, Andrew Hunt. She is also survived by her Uncle Joe Falcone, Aunt Bertha, Aunt Patty Palmieri, numerous cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the funeral service and burial will be private but will be live streamed at Carnesale Funeral Home’s YouTube beginning at 11 a.m.
