Vincenzo Gobbo



Vincenzo Gobbo, 96, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday August 22 2021.


Vincenzo was born in Treviso, Italy. He came to America with his wife Graziella in 1962 and settled in Hammonton where he worked at various clothing factories and men’s stores as a tailor. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, trips back to Italy to visit his many relatives and later in life playing with his grandchildren, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife of 60 years.


He is predeceased by his parents, Ernesto and Enrica (Bidoggia); siblings, Aldo, Gino, Milo, Batista, Giovanni and Livio.


Vincenzo is survived by his wife, Graziella nee Pascon; sons, Ernesto (Maureen) and Marzio; grandchildren, Rose and Xavier; siblings, Terenzio (Bernadetta), Angelo (Gina), Maria and Dirce; and many nephews and nieces.


Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday, August 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Greenmount Cemetery 122 S. 1st Road Hammonton, N.J.
