The Hammonton Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. at Hammonton Town Hall, located at 100 Central Ave.
Girl Scout Troop #6045 will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, located at 326 E. Bellevue Ave.
The Hammonton Senior Citizens will meet at noon at the Fire Co. No. 2, located on the White Horse Pike.
The Exchange Club will meet at 7 p.m. at Rocco’s Town House, 21 N. Third St.    
The Hammonton Good Samaritan Center will provide meals at the Atlantic County Human Resources Building, 310 Bellevue Ave., from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Masons M.B. Taylor Lodge 141 F. & A.M. will hold its dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m., with regular communication at 7:30 p.m., at the Lodge, located on 205 Central Ave.

The Hammonton Canoe Club will host the following events:  Every Monday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. is Senior Exercise sponsored by AtlantiCare. Certified instructor is Ellie Gibson; Chair Yoga for Seniors is held Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and is sponsored by The Heritage Assisted Living of Hammonton.  Certified instructor is Ellie Gibson; Mat Yoga is Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. sponsored by Kathy Grace of  Holistic Health.  Certified instructor is Ellie Gibson. Every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. crochet, knit and stitch.  Call instructor Suzi at (609) 704-5752 for more information; There is pinochle, card playing and board games every day. On Thursday, January 16 at 10:30 a.m. is Craft Day with Diane Conover of Royal Suites and Maria Garcia of Caring Inc.  Please call to register;  limited to 20 people; On Tuesday, January 21 at 11 a.m. Susan Miller from the Health Center at Galloway will present “Survey Says”; Please register for all events. The Puerto Rican Civic Association (PRCA) is still taking donations for the Kitchen Renovation.  You may still contribute by mailing any donation, payable to PRCA, 367 Old Forks Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037 and for those who have contributed, they thank you for your support.  The club is available to rent for your special occasion.  Call (609) 287-7419.
Oak Grove Cemetery will hold a Founder’s Day dinner commemorating the 160th Anniversary on Saturday, February 22 at 5 p.m. at Tomasello Winery, 225 White Horse Pike, Hammonton.  Tickets are $85 per person.  There will be a cash bar.  Please RSVP with payment by February 1.  Tickets are first come, first serve.  Wear business attire.
An addiction support group will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 310 Bellevue Avenue.  The meetings are open to anyone affected by addiction.  For more information email hope.hammonton@gmail. com or call or text Gary at (609) 727-2763.
The Hammonton Senior Nutrition Site at 310 Bellevue Ave located in the Atlantic County Building will have the following activities during January.  Winter Crafts Making will take place 1/24 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. They will be making bird feeders.  The Hammonton Success Center will be assisting the seniors in making Handwarmers on 1/9 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  The Hammonton Success Center will hold bingo for the senior center 1/16 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Visiting Angels will have a speaker who will address the topic of Medicare Covering Homecare at 11:45 a.m. on 1/23. The Hammonton Success Center will be making Blueberry Pancakes for the seniors on 1/28 at 10 a.m. The nutrition site is funded by Federal Legislation of The Older American Act and Atlantic County makes lunches for the seniors asking for a $1 donation daily. Lunch should be ordered two days in advance call Carol at (609) 645-7700, Ext 9537 to order lunch. The Nutrition Center is opened 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch is served at 11:50 a.m. every day. Bingo is played every day and pinochle cards are played Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s. Board games and puzzles are available every day. Homemade waffles are made for breakfast every Friday morning.  Birthdays are celebrated the last Thursday of the month with a large birthday cake provided by Atlantic County.
The Hammonton Family Success Center will host the following events in January: ESL on Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Computers on Wednesday, January 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. featuring typing basics, internet searches and email; On Thursdays is Groovy Kids Toddler Playgroup from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.; On Monday, January 20 showing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs at 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Need legal help?  South Jersey Legal Services is available to help the last Friday of every month. The Hammonton Woman’s Civic Club meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse on Broadway at Liberty Street. New members always welcome.
