Hammonton Community Garden & Green Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, third floor meeting room or online (as COVID-19 precaution when needed). Monday meetings move to Tuesday when there’s a holiday). In-person meetings may be moved online as COVID-19 impacts our community. Email hammontongreencommittee@gmail.com with any questions.

The Hammonton Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. at Hammonton Town Hall, located at 100 Central Ave.
The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) - Chapter 66 will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the DAV Hall, located at 446 S. Egg Harbor Rd.

The Hammonton School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Hammonton High School Library.

The Hammonton Lake Water Quality Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at Hammonton Town Hall, 100 Central Ave.

The Hammonton Environmental Commission will meet at 7 p.m. at Hammonton Town Hall, 100 Central Ave.

The Hammonton Woman’s Civic Club meets at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse on Broadway at Liberty Street. New members always welcome.

Other Events
The Hammonton Canoe Club is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. is crocheting and knitting class. On Thursday, May 25 at 1 p.m. there will be a movie matinee; On Friday, June 2 is book club at 1 p.m. ; On Thursday, June 8 at 1 p.m. is a movie matinee showing 80 for Brady; On Thursday, June 15 at 11 a.m. there will be a medical seminar with Bedrock Wellness. There will be stations for various testing like blood pressure and diabetes; On Tuesday, June 20 at 11 a.m. Mary Young will speak about the Hammonton Drug Alliance. Lunch will be served, asking a $4 donation; On Thursday, June 22 at 1 p.m. will be a movie matinee of A Man Called Otto; On Tuesday, June 27 there will be Bingo sponsored by the Hammonton Center. The Hammonton Cancer Foundation’s “Walk for our Neighbors,” set for Saturday, June 3, at the Hammonton Middle School, 75 N. Liberty Street, from 9 to 11 a.m. rain or shine, is seeking walkers and sponsors for the event. Sign-ins will begin at 8 a.m. To preregister, download forms at Hammontoncancerfoundation.org. Adults can preregister for $20 and students for $10. Teams of five or more will pay $15 per person, $10 for students ages 11 to 18. Children 10 and under can attend free. The Hammonton Senior Citizen Nutrition Center at 310 Belleview Avenue is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Seniors need to be 60 years or older of age and need to register with Atlantic County at the nutrition site. Masks are optional. A $1 donation is suggested. If you wish to join the Nutrition Site please register first at the center. The Sunshine Foundation Hammonton Wishing Well Chapter presents You Are My Sunshine Daddy-Daughter Dance on Sunday, June 11 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hammonton Middle School Cafeteria (75 N. Liberty St.). Girls in grades five and under are invited to bring dad or another special adult male guest to join them for an afternoon of dancing. Cost is $25 per couple and $5 for each additional child. This include dinner and a craft. The Hammonton Good Samaritan Center will hold dinners on Wednesdays. Dinners are free of charge with curbside pickup only from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 310 Bellevue Avenue parking lot. Weekly meals will be posted on Hammonton Family Success Center Facebook page via Eventbrite or calling the center by Tuesday at 3 p.m. at (609) 567-2900.
