The Hammonton Canoe Club is reopening Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will be closed Monday for Memorial Day. On Thursday, June 28 there will be Bingo at noon sponsored by Royal Suites.  Lunch will be served.  Bingo cards are $1 each. A program will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 10: 30 a.m. The Price is Right sponsored by Royal Suites. A lunch will be served. On Thursday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m. there will be a program from Matt Triboletti demonstrating physical therapy practice. A lunch will be served. Also on Thursday, July 21 is movie night at 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Tuesday, July 26 there will be Bingo at noon. Lunch will be served. Sponsored by the Canoe Club. Bingo cards are $1 each. Hammonton Community Garden & Green Committee will meet the first Monday of the month (except for July and September holidays noted below) at 6:30 p.m. at town hall, third floor meeting room or online (as COVID-19 precaution when needed).  Upcoming 2022 Dates: July 5 (holiday change), August 1, September 6 (holiday change), October 3, November 7 and December 5 (Monday meetings move to Tuesday when there’s a holiday).  In-person meetings may be moved online as COVID-19 impacts our community.  Email hammontongreencommittee@gmail.com with any questions.

The Puerto Rican Civic Association  63rd Annual Festival will take place rain or shine August 28 and September 2-4.  On Sunday, August 28: Mass at St Mary of Mount Carmel Parish at St Joseph Church,  226 French St.; 1:30 p.m. Procession to town hall, 100 Central Ave; 1:45 p.m. Flag Raising at town hall,  speech and receiving the Proclamation from Mayor Steve DiDonato and town council; 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. celebrate the 63rd Annual Festival at Puerto Rican Civic Assoc. clubhouse, 367 Old Forks Road (down the street from the high school.  On Friday, September 2: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. celebrate Festival at Puerto Rican Civic Assoc. clubhouse, 367 Old Forks Road.  Enjoy live music, DJ and dishes of Latin cuisine.  On Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4: 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. celebrate Festival at Puerto Rican Civic Assoc. clubhouse.  Enjoy live music, DJ and dishes of Latin cuisine. 

The Hammonton Ladies Social Group is now meeting bi-weekly.    They have a Facebook page called Hammonton Ladies Social Group where you can join and become a member.   There are regular posts for meeting times and dates and announcements for planned events with details.  If you are not on Facebook, you are still welcome to join, please contact Debbie Shain at DebbieShain@comcast.ne

The Hammonton Senior Citizen Nutrition Center at 310 Belleview Avenue is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Seniors need to be 60 years or older of age and need to register with Atlantic County at the nutrition site. Lunch needs to be ordered two days ahead of time. Mask are required, so please bring a mask with you to the center.  A $1 donation is suggested.  Every Friday at 10:30 a.m. will be chair exercising. If you wish to join the Nutrition Site please register first at the center. The Hammonton Good Samaritan Center is back for dinners on Wednesdays.  Dinners are free of charge with curbside pickup only from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 310 Bellevue Avenue parking lot.  Weekly meals will be posted on Hammonton Family Success Center Facebook page via Eventbrite or calling the center by Tuesday at 3 p.m. at (609) 567-2900.


An addiction support group will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 310 Bellevue Avenue.  The meetings are open to anyone affected by addiction.  For more information email hope.hammonton@gmail. com or call or text Gary at (609) 727-2763.


The Hammonton Woman’s Civic Club meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse on Broadway at Liberty Street. New members always welcome.
