Wednesday, November 6

The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) - Chapter 66 will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the DAV Hall, located at 446 S. Egg Harbor Rd.
Girl Scout Troop #16045 will meet at 6 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, located at 326 E. Bellevue Ave. (September through June)
The Hammonton Senior Citizens will meet 8:30 a.m. at Fire Co. No. 2 on the White Horse Pike.  For more information, call Pat Campanella at 561-8570.
The Exchange Club will meet at 7 p.m. at Rocco’s Town House, located at 21 N. Third Street.
The Hammonton Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. at Hammonton Town Hall, located at 100 Central Ave.
The Hammonton Good Samaritan Center will provide meals at the Atlantic County Human Resources Building, 310 Bellevue Ave., from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, November 7

The Hammonton Association of Girl Scout Leaders will meet at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, located at 326 E. Bellevue Ave.
Masons M.B. Taylor Lodge 141 F. & A.M. will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Masonic Hall, located at 206 Central Ave.  This meeting is for Master Masons only.
The Historical Society of Hammonton will meet at 7 p.m. followed by a public program at 8 p.m. at the Canoe Club.  Call 561-0960 if you would like to receive notices of meetings and events by mail or e-mail.
The Hammonton/Mullica Democratic Club will meet at 7 p.m. at Rocco’s Town House, located at 21 N. Third Street.  All Hammonton Democrats welcome to attend.

The American Legion, F. A. Funston Post #186 will host dinner at 6 p.m. with meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, located at 101 French Street.
Boy Scout Troop 58 and Cub Scout Pack 58 will meet at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, located at 326 Bellevue Ave.
The Kiwanis Club of Hammonton will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Maplewood, located at 470 S. White Horse Pike.
The Sunshine Foundation will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Atlantic County Library - Hammonton Branch, located at 451 S. Egg Harbor Rd.
The Knights of Columbus Pallotti Council #3471 will meet at 7:30 p.m. at its home, located on 226 Pratt St.

Wednesday, November 13

The Hammonton Environmental Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Hammonton Town Hall, 100 Central Ave.

Other Events

The Hammonton Canoe Club will host the following events:  Every Monday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. is Senior Exercise sponsored by AtlantiCare. Certified instructor is Ellie Gibson; Chair Yoga for Seniors is held Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and is sponsored by The Heritage Assisted Living of Hammonton.  Certified instructor is Ellie Gibson; Every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. crochet, knit and stitch.  Call instructor Suzi at (609) 704-5752 for more information; There is pinochle, card playing and board games every day; On Tuesday, November 12 at 11 a.m. is a volunteer meeting with complimentary lunch  for volunteers only; On Tuesday, November 19 at 11a.m. Marinella’s Funeral Home will be speaking on “Pre-Planning Funerals and Arrangements.”  Lunch will be available, asking a $4 donation; On Tuesday, November 26 at 12 p.m. is Bingo.  Lunch is served at 12 p.m. followed with Bingo sponsored by the Hammonton Rehab and Healthcare Center.  Bingo cards are $1 each.  Prizes are gift cards to a local store.  The Canoe Club will be closed on Tuesday, November 5 for Election Day and Thursday, November 28 for Thanksgiving.  Please register for all events. Knights of Columbus Pallotti Council #3471 will have a bus trip to Resorts Casino on Thursday, November 14. Cost is $20/person, Each person will receive $25 in slot play and $10 for food.  Bus leaves at 5 p.m. and leaves for home at 10 p.m.  Enjoy a fun evening with friends. HHS Class of 1974 will be holding its class reunion on November 30 at 8 p.m. at Rocco’s Town House Whiskey Bar (downstairs). Call Kathy Lemons at (609) 335-0381 for more info.
An addiction support group will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 310 Bellevue Avenue.  The meetings are open to anyone affected by addiction.  For more information email hope.hammonton@gmail. com or call or text Gary at (609) 727-2763.
The Hammonton Senior Nutrition Center at 310 Bellevue Ave., located in the Atlantic County Building, will have the following activities this October: Homemade waffles are made and enjoyed by all on every Friday in October. A Halloween Party will take place on October 31 with refreshments.  The nutrition site is funded by Federal Legislation of The Older American Act and Atlantic County makes lunches for the seniors asking for a $1. donation daily. Lunch should be ordered two days in advance call Carol at (609) 567-2900 to order lunch. The nutrition center is open 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. Lunch is served at 11:50 a.m. every day. Bingo is played every day and pinochle cards are played Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s. Board games and puzzles are available every day.  Birthdays are celebrated the last Thursday of the month with a large birthday cake provided by Atlantic County.
The Hammonton Woman’s Civic Club meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse on Broadway at Liberty Street. New members always welcome.
