From the Archives of the Hammonton Historical Society.
This photograph from the Imhoff Collection was taken in the early 1900s. At that time, the building behind the unidentified woman was located on the School House Lane portion of Vine Street, near the red building on the former “Central School” campus (now St. Joseph Academy’s campus).
The building, built by William Bernshouse, was later relocated to its current site on Vine Street near town hall. It was recently restored by EB Fence and houses their offices.
