Anthony Campione



Anthony Campione, 60, of Hammonton and formally of Waterford Works, N.J. died on Saturday, March 20, 2021.


Born and raised in Hammonton, Anthony graduated from Edgewood Regional High School Class of 1979. Anthony was a proud member of Iron Works Local Union 68. He was an avid farmer and enjoyed growing and selling plants and vegetables. Upon retirement Anthony and his wife spent time in Delray Beach, Fla. where they spent their time relaxing on the beach, dining at the restaurants on Atlantic Avenue and strawberry picking.


Anthony is predeceased by his parents, Carmen and MaryLou Campione; his beloved in-laws, Anthony and Constance Lionelli; and his sister, Alice Lemons. Surviving are his wife Maryann Campione; his siblings, Carmen Campione (Dolly) of Hammonton and Cindy Campione of Naples, Fla.; his beloved sister-in-law, Marie Chicherico (Domenico), Jennifer Lionelli, Louis Lionelli (Gayle), Wayne Lionelli and Mark Lionelli (Ashley). He leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, and an abundance of friends who will miss him beyond words.


Family and friends are invited to a closed casket visitation on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation at 11 a.m. at the Parish of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/St. Joseph Church, French St. & N. 3rd. St. Hammonton, N.J. Interment will be private.
