Arlene McGair



Arlene McGair, 88, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.


Arlene was born in Providence, R.I. and lived many places before settling in Hammonton 18 years ago. She worked as legal secretary at for Robert Forgash Law Firm in Medford, N.J. for many years before retiring.


She is predeceased by her parents, James and Rose (nee Spunzo) Velleca; her brother, Carl Velleca; and sister, Anne Velleca Bova.


Arlene is survived by her loving husband, Francis; her boys, Stephen and his wife Carol, Gary and his wife Maria and Bryan and his wife Margaret; her brother, Anthony Velleca; and sister, Jessica Landry. She is the loving grandmother of Heather, Matthew, Christopher, Stephanie, Tracie and Bryan and loving great-grandmother of Jackson.


Relatives and friends attended her viewing Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Her burial will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, N.J. at a later date.
