Downtown Hammonton’s monthly Third Thursday event series continues, with this month’s theme of ‘Blueberries’ happening on Thursday, July 20 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. all throughout the downtown district.

“MainStreet Hammonton hosts a lot of events each year, but the monthly Third Thursday is a mainstay in our historic downtown. We receive funding from the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs to add an interactive, engaging and art-focused component to the Third Thursday event each month. There is something for everyone at these events and each month is different. Come out to experience, shop, eat and play, and mark your calendar for the Third Thursday of each month!” MainStreet Hammonton Executive Director Mica McCullough said.

Begin your evening on Horton Street, for the summer’s second installment of the monthly “Green Market” series hosted by the Hammonton Green Committee, featuring live music, fresh produce, local vendors of handmade, eco-friendly, locally-sourced, homemade and sustainable items and much, much more. Then, stroll to your favorite shops and boutiques for “blueberries”-themed specials, cocktails, discounts and more.

Be sure to visit downtown’s newest business, Elemental Vintique (Bellevue Ave.) and celebrate the opening of two more: Makers Handmade (12th St.) and La Carreta Taqueria (12th St.)

“Downtown Hammonton has an amazing art community, and this evening will showcase some unexpected artists: we’ll be installing the interactive public art exhibit that community members of all ages and backgrounds have been creating since last Third Thursday. We can’t wait to unveil it at the Arts Walk– be sure to look up!” Hammonton Art Club President Don Swenson said.
