Frank J. Gazzara Jr.



Frank J. Gazzara Jr., 70, of Hammonton passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, April 8, 2021.


Frank was born in Camden and was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. He was a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s High School Class of 1969. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Frank owned Affairs at Home LLC of Hammonton for many years. He previously worked as a floorperson at Bally’s Park Place in Atlantic City and as a hair stylist at Natural Touch Hair Salon in Medford. Frank was a member of the Hammonton Kiwanis Club. He was a very generous man and he donated his time and organizational skills, tents and food to many good causes including the Hammonton Hawks Football Organization and St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish especially during the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.


He is predeceased by his parents, Frank J. and Fannie Gazzara; his brother, Charles “Bud” Gazzara; and his sister, Angela Mazzeo.


He is survived by his two sons, Brian Gazzara and Brandon Gazzara (Lizzy) and their mother, Roseann; one brother, Carl “Tobby” Gazzara (Marti ); his nephew who was like a brother to him, Butch Gazzara (Rose); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


A walk through viewing where masks must be worn, social distancing is required and a limited number of people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time was held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. There will be no viewing on Wednesday morning.


Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph’s, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Food Pantry, 226 French Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
