John A. Cirillo



John A. Cirillo, 80, of Hammonton died on Friday, January 15, 2021.


John was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he resided before moving to Staten Island in 1971. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a photographer for Arden Studios and Jostens. John also did independent photography, servicing many weddings and parties throughout his career. John retired to Hammonton in 2007. John loved spending time with his family but most of all with his grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan and rooted for the New York Mets and New York Giants. He also loved spending time at the local senior center playing cards and talking with friends.


He is predeceased by his parents, John and Irene (nee Resta) Cirillo; and two brothers, Joseph and Charles Cirillo.


Surviving are his son, Anthony and his wife Valerie and their two children, Nicholas and Lia, as well as his two sisters, Rachel LoRusso and Connie DiFilippo.


Family and friends attended his Mass of Christian Burial on January 22, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church, 3rd and French Streets, Hammonton, N.J. Cremation and burial was held privately.
