John W. Summers Sr., 73, of Folsom, N.J. passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.
Born in Bedford, Pa. he lived in Folsom for 50 years. John formerly worked for Artie Grasso and Sons as a carpenter and for INTEX Millwork Solutions in Mays Landing.
John is predeceased by his son, John W. Summers Jr.; his parents, John H. and Betty Jane Summers; his brothers, Rick, Tom and Bob; his sister, Diane; and his in-laws, Thomas and Marjorie Giordano.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie Summers (nee Giordano); his sons, Ronnie Summers of Mays Landing and Tommy Summers of Hammonton; his sisters, Karen Fayter (Peter) of Folsom and Debra Kilburn (Paul) of Mullica Twp.; and the apple of his eye his granddaughter, Autumn Lynn Summers.
Funeral Services were held at the Carnesale Funeral Home with burial in Greenmount Cemetery.
