Josephine R. Buscemi (nee DePalma), 88, of West Berlin, N.J. died on Thursday February 11, 2021.
She was born and raised in Waterford, N.J. Josephine worked as a trimmer for W.B. Kessler Clothing Company in Hammonton, N.J.
She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Buscemi Sr.; her parents, Frank and Josephine DePalma; and siblings, Frank, Paul, John, Mary Michael, Tony, Domenic, Eleanor, Joseph, Ralph, Theresa and Jeanette.
Surviving are her children, Joseph Buscemi Jr. and his wife Cheryl of West Berlin, N.J. and Diane Burnham and her husband Philip of Voorhees, N.J.; brothers, Robert DePalma of Philadelphia and Thomas DePalma of Waterford; and her sister, Dorothy DiChristopher of Barrington. She’s the loving grandmother of Joseph Buscemi III (Rachel Santiago), Lauren Riepen (Mark), Frankie Reynolds Jr. (Katie) and Marley Reynolds (Tyler Mason); and great-grandmother of Mark and Beau Riepen.
Family and friends celebrated her Mass of Christian Burial February 16, 2021 at 11a.m. at St. Simon Stock Parish Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009. Burial followed in Gate of Heaven Cemetery 260 W. White Horse Pike Berlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
