Carmen Perrotta

Carmen Perrotta, 55, went to rest with the lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Carmen was born at Our Lady Lourdes Hospital on April 11, 1967 to Carmen Perrotta Sr. and Phyllis (Marinella) Perrotta and was one of five children. He was a lifelong resident of Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High school in 1985. He was an accomplished powerlifter winning many awards and titles. His most honorable accomplishment was when he represented the United States of America's world powerlifting team in Lima, Peru. He loved spending time with his family and friends especially at Oceanside Gym. Carmen loved and cherished the company of his pets throughout the years. He was an entrepreneur founding many companies, but his most memorable company was Oceanside Medical in collaboration with his father (Carmen Perrotta Sr.). His most recent passion in business was forming Oceanside Trucking. No matter the obstacles that hit him through his years of powerlifting, to days as a businessman his passion for success is what never made him give up.


Carmen is survived by his brothers, Vincent Perrotta (Donna), John Perrotta (Rosa), Michael Perrotta; his sister, Michelle Perrotta; and his girlfriend, Vickie Clark. He is the nephew to Jack and Sandra Marinella and a loving uncle to John Perrotta Jr. He is also a cousin and friend to many.


Family and friends were invited to his Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt.Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church, the corner of French and Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Entombment followed in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
