Dennis Wayne Tomasco

Dennis Wayne Tomasco, 73, of Folsom and formerly of Hammonton went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2023 at home. He was born on July 29, 1950 in Hammonton, N.J. Before retiring Dennis worked for thirty-two years as a truck driver for Harrison Beverage in Pleasantville. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 331. He was a great baseball player for Hammonton High School. Dennis was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He belonged to Boot Hill Gun Club, where he learned to hunt with his dad, and to pass it on to his family and friends. He loved gardening and being outdoors. He had a huge heart and an equally large sense of humor.


He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Dominic (Tedo) and Dorothy (nee Wells) Tomasco; his sisters, Lucille and Anna; and his twin grandsons, Joseph and Michael; and his mother-in-law, Rose. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Verna Tomasco (nee Vitale); his beautiful daughter, Denise Thompson (Joey); his son, Dennis (Denny) Tomasco; his step daughter, Darnell; granddaughter, Joanna; his grandsons, Tyler and Joel; and his step grandsons, Jimmy and Robert; and his great grandchildren, Demetry, and Demari who had a special place in his heart. His two sisters that were so very close to him, Beverly Mascio and Dale Fichetola. He had a way to make everyone laugh, and he will be missed by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, especially Lucy, Sherry, Bobby, Ralphie, Brian and Brandon.


Funeral services were held at Calvary Chapel in Hammonton. Burial was held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Road, Hammonton.
