This year marks the The Gazette’s 18th Annual Restaurant Week in Hammonton and accompanying Dining Guide in the newspaper.
What’s different is obvious: It has been a tremendously difficult and challenging year for restaurants since the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic began in 2020, right after our last restaurant week.
Restaurants need you. We have been fortunate in Hammonton to be a close-knit place where people support each other. The result of those tight bonds have helped our families, friends, schools, business community and our restaurants preserve in spite of restrictions that have been crippling.
So, as you page through the keepsake Dining Guide pullout in this week’s edition, look at the delicious food and then either go out to a restaurant, contact a restaurant for takeout or visit a restaurant to pick up your takeout order. It is a time for action, and our restaurants need you.
In addition, Hammonton’s restaurants are primarily run by your family, friends and neighbors. Now is the time to show them your support by purchasing some of the best food in New Jersey—and maybe anywhere—all available in Hammonton and the surrounding area.
It’s fun to eat something prepared by an expert, someone who really knows what they’re doing. Great food makes for great moments, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner or even late night. There are so many excellent options for dining in (even though it’s only at 35 percent capacity) or taking out, you’re sure to find something to enjoy on the pages of our Dining Guide. At the same time, make sure to patronize the restaurants during The Gazette’s 18th Annual Restaurant Week in Hammonton from February 24 to March 7.
