Robert (Bob) Frankenfield



Robert (Bob) Frankenfield, 81, of Hammonton passed away August 18, 2021 with his wife by his side surrounded with love at HUP hospital.


He was born in Philadelphia, raised in Stone Harbor, lived in Cape May County, then moved to Hammonton. Bob served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard, and then worked as a supervisor for NJ Bell Telephone Company. Bob’s next career change went to real estate. He actively worked as an appraiser/agent. He then started his own real estate appraisal business. This accomplished career was successful for more than 40 years, with the help and support of his loving wife, Linda. Bob had a love for boating, biking, traveling the world together with his wife and riding his lawn tractor. Bob especially loved spending time with his granddaughter, Olivia.


He is predeceased by his mother, Virginia and his brother, Bill.


He is survived by his wife and best friend, Linda (nee Penza); together they celebrated over 30 years of marriage. He is survived by daughters, Lynn, (Dennis) Strigh, Shelley Weckerly; sister, Virginia Burlingame; sister and brother-in-laws, Mildred, Frank Peretti, Angelo, Maryann, Charles and Susan Penza; granddaughter, Olivia Strigh; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 23 with visitation at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Route 206, which was followed by Mass. Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N.3rd Street Philadelphia, PA 19123. Over the last 25 years, Bob underwent three organ transplant surgeries. This program provides medical support to the organ donors and their families.
