Robert J. Crescenzo Sr., 82, lifetime resident of Hammonton, N.J., peacefully passed surrounded by family on Friday, May 14, 2021.
Born in Hammonton, N.J. on March 10, 1939, Bob lived a long and full life. Bob was a devout Catholic, with deep roots in Hammonton. He previously held the position of President of the Hammonton Kiwanis Club and proudly served as Vice President of William Crescenzo, Inc. of Hammonton for over 65 years. He had a fierce love of flying and served in the U.S. Navy.
He is predeceased by his parents, Willam and Jennie Crescenzo (nee Capelli); brothers, William and Donald; and brother-in-law, Joseph Griggs.
Bob is survived by Rita Crescenzo (nee DiGerolamo); sister, Rita Mae Griggs; sons, Robert (Suzzanne) and Joseph (Melanie); and grandsons, Joseph and Dominic. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended his viewing on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Anthony of Padua Church, 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, N.J. followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, N.J.
