Anna Marie Skrzat (nee DeMore), 75, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at home with her family by her side.
Anna Marie was a lifelong Hammonton resident. She loved the casino, dancing and music, especially Kenny Rogers. Anna Marie also enjoyed watching horror movies.
She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Josephine (nee Cagno) DeMore; her husband, Matthew Skrzat; and her sister, Maggie Pace (late Anthony).
Anna Marie is survived by her children, Matthew K. Skrzat Jr., Gina Knight (Eric, Sr.) and Tiffany Caracciola (Anthony); and her siblings, Carmella Moffa (Sam), Lucy D’Antonio (late Virgil), Josephine “Chickie” Giorno (Late Rudy) and Carmen DeMore (Sue). She is the loving grandmother to Frankie Watkins Jr., Eric Knight Jr. and Brittany Knight. She is the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends attended her viewing on Thursday, August 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday August 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Joseph Church Third & French St. Hammonton, N.J. Burial followed in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Road Hammonton, NJ 08037.
