Katherine M. Byrianycz



Katherine M. Byrianycz, 97, of Winslow passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.


Born in Winslow she was a lifelong resident. A child of the Great Depression, she was one of the original “Rosie the Riveters” having worked at SKF Manufacturing in Philadelphia during World War II building war munitions. She also was employed at Kessler Clothing in Hammonton and she retired from Kellogg’s. She loved gardening and her pets. She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness and independent spirit.


She is predeceased by her father and mother, Kost Byrianycz and Annie Byrianycz.


She is survived by her loving sister, Aliana (Helen) Ammann and nephew, Robert J. Ammann both of Winslow.


Private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph’s in Hammonton. Burial was held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton.
