Robert R. “Bob” Perna
Robert R. “Bob” Perna, 79, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021.
Bob was born and raised in Hammonton and was a longtime resident of Vineland prior to returning to Hammonton. He was the son of the late Kathryn (Collucci) & Joseph D. Perna.
Bob was the founder and operator of Perna Construction which specialized in road construction. Bob enjoyed NASCAR racing, heavy equipment and most of all his family. Bob was also an Eagles fan.
Bob is survived by his wife and their children; sons, Robert R. Perna Jr. and Anthony Perna Sr.; daughter in-law, Darlene Perna; grandchildren, Jimmy, Anthony Jr., Dominic, Nicolas, Vincent, Gabrielle and Heather; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Juliana and Aiden; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy (Harry) Fricke and Margo (Jan) Ferry; two brothers and sisters in-law, Joseph (Marlene) Perna and Bruce (Rita Mae) Perna as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday evening, November 12, 2021 after 7 p.m. at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, N.J. There will be no visitation on Saturday morning. His funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-Church of St. Joseph, 226 French St., Hammonton, N.J. with burial to follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 248 1st Road, Hammonton, N.J.
